Coach Finstock28 июл., 05:42First time I've ever seen this sign at a pool and I've been in thousands of pools which would indicate that this sign needed to be made. They spent money having this printed.
TT & Cricket's Mom28 июл., 05:44I highly recommend finding Tig Notaro's version of this joke - her comedic timing and hilarious delivery are the best!
Urban Futurist Democrat28 июл., 06:10Don't know if you're in our state, but this is in our building code! up.codes/viewer/calif...Chapter 31B [DPH] Public Pools: California Building Code 2025 (Vol 1 & 2) | UpCodesUpCodes offers a consolidated resource of construction and building code grouped by jurisdictionup.codes
matt28 июл., 05:49Apparently cyclospora is being passed through pools and splash pads. The parasite is resistant to chlorine :/
Cheryl McNeilly28 июл., 06:20it's pretty common, especially at family pools and baby pools parents just don't think sometimes
Dheepa Sundaram, PhD (she/her)28 июл., 09:06🤢 Pour one out for the folks who entered the pool before the sign was posted…
Mr. Spock28 июл., 05:54First time I saw one of these my cousin said to me, well shit that means I’ve never been legally able to get in a pool my whole adult life
W'moreland, Aubrey28 июл., 09:00i feel like I've seen it a few places in nc, maybe it's like a state health code thing?
popularknapsack28 июл., 08:07Maybe you have just entered a public pool for the first time? This is standard if always a bit jarring
Multinominousc ≥🇺🇸│🇨🇭🏴🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️│🇺🇦🇵🇸🇺🇳28 июл., 06:52Tis better to spend money to print a simple sign than having to spend money on cleaning out the pool a second time.
nora-hakase (野良博士)28 июл., 08:24Really? I've seen these at virtually every public pool forever. Not 100% sure how long but definitely the last 25–30 years minimum
Microplastics Sommelier28 июл., 05:51"14 days? no problem, let me just pull up my diarrhea tracker app to make sure i'm in the clear"
Random Participation28 июл., 07:33I will gladly accept explosive diarrhea in exchange for ensuring there are no trans swimmers in the pool. Does that make me a Republican?
Space Witches, Esq.28 июл., 06:30I've seen those in several hotels, but don't remember seeing them ten years ago.
Phase Blowly28 июл., 07:38Used to see them in hotels a lot years ago. Particularly Holiday Inns and lower-mid tier Marriotts brands with pools.
valkyriene28 июл., 10:42Nope. Not swimming in diarrhea-soup.Bart & Grandpa Simpson: Enter & LeaveAlt: Bart & Grandpa Simpson: Enter & Leave, no diarrhea-soup swimming today.static.klipy.com
Chris from that thing28 июл., 06:26I worked summers at a community pool. This sign is very much a necessity, and yes, there were still folks who would want clarification.
Merp28 июл., 05:43This is a pretty common sign to see at pools and hot tubs, not everywhere, but I have def seen it as a standard, permanent metal sign. Although I think it usually says 24-48 hours, not 14 days.
daryl "crap mode aesthetic" b 🏳️⚧️28 июл., 06:15I've seen these at pools before, usually in hotels or motels, I think it's more the cheaper places, it's definitely one of those things where incidents lead to signs
Davidwhodat28 июл., 07:39When I managed HOAs in NorCal, we literally had to have signs at every pool forbidding kids in diapers from using the pools. Still had to pay to deal with their ‘accidents’ every month or so because a lot of parents suck.
Mother Bones28 июл., 06:55Been seeing them for decades at pools all over the country. But now we're all primed to notice "diarrhea" anywhere 😂
Izzy Seabiscuit28 июл., 05:45For real? Signs like these are pretty common, Tig Notaro has a great bit on them www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSGG...Public PoolYouTube video by Tig Notaro - Topicwww.youtube.com
i thought the highway loved me but she beat me like a drum28 июл., 08:53there's one at the pool at my grandparents' condo complex. i've seen them on pools my whole life, plenty in hotels & at college or public swimming pools; perhaps you were simply unobservant in the past.
wick28 июл., 06:14"Hi, I'm Steve-O, and this is 'eat Taylor Farms lettuce and in exactly two weeks go to a hotel pool'"
Adia Benton28 июл., 05:51I have seen them but I don’t remember 14 days… a few usually say something about kids in swimming diapers too :/
Mark28 июл., 07:13Doesn’t mention barfing from recent alcohol abuse. So I will see YOU down at the pool at 11:30am with Bloody Mary in hand….
cc28 июл., 05:48Safari Motel, Limon CO. Don’t get in the pool with the ‘rea. In case someone broke that rule, we also recommend you don’t swallow the water.
OneThousandBooksLater28 июл., 06:42[add a new surprisingly literal entry to the Enshitification List]😼
Mercurywoodrose (Antifa Science Officer, Division 23 Airborne)28 июл., 09:09Oh, I’ve seen that quite a lot in the last 20 years that’s pretty standard now in public pools. I think it represents a breakdown in social awareness that families might need to be reminded that if their kids have the shits, they can’t come to the pool.
