Years ago, I was a guest at APE, Alternative Press Expo (RIP). Flight, hotel, food, table, paid for. Per diem provided. I was also allowed a guest to accompany me, who they also paid for. I and other guests were shuttled back and forth between the hotel and venue by a dedicated van.
