I understand your feelings, many of which I share. It’s just that when it’s clearly between 2 candidates, and neither is anywhere close to who you’d PREFER, not choosing really IS choosing. I don’t think anyone could seriously argue that if we’d gotten Kamala we’d still have ICE murdering people etc
2/2 I work at getting better candidates. I’m involved year round In small ways, ie Phone Banking for candidates & Get out the Vote. I’m thrilled to see what Mamdani is doing, I support AOC & similar candidates. Do I support a pure Socialist Party?ie:Public/Gov owned Corps etc? NO. A Nordic model? 👍🏻
Regardless, trump won by a slim margin, the far left coming out of the woodwork 6 weeks before election night calling for everyone to vote the alternative or not at all had a clear and obvious effect on the outcome. And the far left do this on every election cycle, it was not unique to Kamala at all
Perhaps if the “far left” would have voiced their support of Harris, this would have galvanized even more people to vote for Trump… Given that Trump was the choice for the plurality of Americans, if every Harris voter would have boycotted the election, this would would have sent a stronger message

Yup, the only way to fix this is making voting easier. The Republicans have put all their efforts into making it harder while Democrats are just trying to keep it the same as it was. We need to make it much much easier. It's always reaction with Democrats and never action. Defense and never Offense.
It starts also in the American education system. Public education. There's basically no Civic education anymore which is exactly what it's like in Russia. Specially red states. Kindergartners should learn all kinds of shit that other countries teach. Ukrainians are better educated than Americans ffs
