This is Chase. He's been branded as something of an escape artist. Unfortunately there were witnesses and victims in his latest attempt. 14/10 (TT: whimsicaleyecrustys)

In the end aren't we all step ladders?

Pretty happy guy!

The human platform. What a dog. How did he get up there?

What part of “Fence Jumper” did they not understand?!? 🤣😂😆

Ответ для David Marshall

should should have worn a name tag so we knew her name was Fence!

like a true alpha predator, he waited for the perfect moment to strike its victim

I got one of those.

Ответ для LadyM

Me too.

At least she provided soft landing for Chase

Oh my. Hope the girl is ok.

Ответ для Sandi

OP posted no injuries, all were fine.

Ответ для tunalapumpie

Thank you. ✨️

Used her as a landing pad.

He is innocent!

He doesn't want to be in there, save him! ♥️

🙏🤣🙏

I hope Chase gets a home with area to roam!

You manifested the chair Chase needed. 🙌

I’m in love 💕🐕✨🎻😍

The Chase Is On! literally.

Chase said “you are the chair”

Send em to puppy court!

TRUST FALL! 🤣

Oh no hope she is ok

why do they call him chase?

Ответ для Suzen

Houndini 🐾

She probably saved that dogs leg.

Someone adopt that fur baby.

Her: Let me get the chair. Dog: No need!

Ответ для dashedtaters

I mean, i wouldn't mind being Chase's chair. he can snuggle up any time. wait. that came out wrong. or right. or. Look. I bet he snuggles well. Some one give him a home so good he won't want to escape!

Can you blame him!

😍

Maybe animals don’t want to be separated and live in cages either.

Spider Dog's alter ego!

This is Fence Jumper. #fencejumper

Omg!!!

Very smart and efficient to use the human as a stepstool.

Looks like a flying cross body from the top rope. His partner let him down missing the catch

Omg, that dog saw his opportunity and snatched it 🤣🤣🤣 The split-second her back was turned and she was a moderately-flat surface to break his fall, he leapt *instantly*

"No shelter pen will keep me!!" :) lol I hope Chase finds a SECURE forever home!!!

This would have been gold for puppy court

Can anyone blame him? I certainly don't. 💔

Fence jumper 😂 at least 🐾🐾

I hope he's being marketed as an agility dog!

Forget that, get that pooch into the WWE! He just executed a perfect double-elbow drop off the top turnbuckle!

He’s a good boy!

He's been hanging out with cats again

WOW!!!

Chase absolutely rules. 🤌👏🫶 He’s made it clear he shouldn’t be in any environment where he’s detained. Although I bet he appreciates the challenge to a degree.

Awesome Dogs with Paws on FacesAlt: Awesome Dogs with clapping paws. Chase rocksstatic.klipy.com

Rename to Steeple Chase.

That had to hurt…

Perhaps he should be renamed Desperado... he may have canine claustrophobia.

Aptly named

“Let me get a chair.” Chase doesn’t need one anymore, but thanks!

I don't need no stinkin chair!!!! Parkour!

Oh look, she's bending over and making a stepstool for me to get down, how considerate! 😂

Go Chase, run! 🥰🥰🥰

Just wants to get out, some human companionship, and…run! I’ve got a couple of “escape artists” for whom the 75 ft x 100 ft dog run isn’t enough. They dream about it, looking for their opportunity.

What are you supposed to do when your name is Chase? Should have named him Stay if you didn’t want to play chase.

Ответ для Matt Weens

😹😹👏🏻👏🏻

I hope the young lady is OK!!??

Ответ для vincitamorpatriae

both are okay!

Good of her to break his fall.

Smart boy! 😊

Middle name gotta be Me.

He wants out badly!

Will he plead his case in Puppy Court?

Shelter volunteer: This is a full-contact job!

Fence jumper? That's more than just a fence

Looks like a ridgeback. Hope they called one of the many ridgeback groups.

Oh dear!😮😬

He took his shot and did not miss!

OBVIOUSLY INNOCENT!

<lemme get a chair> to paraphrase a movie- chase: we dont need no stinkin chairs! “This is Chase. He's been branded as something of an escape artist. Unfortunately there were witnesses and victims in his latest attempt. 14/10”

“We don’t need no stinkin chairs just table up!” “What?” *bends” “Perfect! TRUST FALL!”

Ответ для Fast-Casual Karen

How else is he going to practice his barkour moves?

Ответ для CDN Delta 🇨🇦 🇺🇦

Barkour 🤭

I knew one, maybe, two like that. One was a jumper/climber. One was a tunneler.

Ответ для iam-s-Hon

We had a tunneler. He could also open our front door. Once he reached his full 90 lbs I think he taught himself to open the gate rather than get dusty. He wanted his people, and was convinced his people had left for good. 14 years of neurotic love.

Ответ для Sadie Reeder

Yup. Would leave just to go to the store or something and he’d get to work. Had to bring him and the others inside first. TBF he was the first and was the friendly go everywhere dog before there were too many to take along for a ride.

🤣 must have some hound in him

Chase is just wanting a bird's eye view of his current digs. Leave him alone.

😍

And then he attempts to kill his rescuers! 🤣

😂 Fence Jumper

Ответ для Dodie

He’s a habitual offender!

Oh, I worked in a vet clinic once and had the exact same thing happen to me when I was cleaning. It was a pit bull and I couldn't figure out what had happened until she got stuck on the wall divider. She weighed more than me so I had to call the vet to help me get her off the wall.

I meant “Sorry for laughing!” 💞

😂 dorry for laughing, but she made a good landing for him! 💞

Yikes 😬

Her mistake was turning around. He just wanted a piggyback ride.

😀

No fence can hold him back! Someone get him in a circus act quick!

He’s earned his name! 💙

My rescue could scale a 10' enclosure, now she pretends she needs a boost to get on the bed.🤔

The glass door says "fence jumper" 😹😹😹

He’s got talent!

Git to love a tryer! ❤️

Imagine the overnight possibilities 😂

😱🫣

It would have been nice if the details were posted if that is a shelter he is in... might just expedite his chances on truly escaping...

😄

That was the opposite of a 'trust fall' 😂🤣😂

Definitely something for your new Puppy Court! I'm going out on a limb here but no jury will convict him. He was set up!

He wants OUT!!! Simple!

Athlete

Chase doesn't need a chair, tyvm

I'm sending Chase a doggie cake with a file.

We got one like that at our facility who hops over the fence nearly every day she is here into the enrichment room- just to look for treats and then sleep. Shes a menace, but I love her. (Note: she's and australian shepherd, so nobody is terribly surprised.)

“Chase” seems appropriate.

Chase is obviously a cat in a dog suit.

Ответ для Fasten your seat belts...

I mean, "Chase" has already two of the three letters for "cat". It's almost too obvious.

I’m thinking they named him appropriately. 😆

He needs a better assistant for his fetes of magic😉

Interesting that the person taking the video stuck with taking video rather than trying to help get the dog down safely.

That’s a dog desperate to find a home ❤️

💙💙💙

What if your last words were “let me get a chair”.

I’m bustin outa dis place!

Arms? No, no, no. Head? Yes.

It's "Chase," not "apprehend"...

Walls

😂😂😂

I have a 3 ft fence on top of a 6 ft fence to deal with my version of that.

Ответ для Ani

My neighbor's dog was like that, so he added to the top of his fence. I witnessed his dog parkour from ground to a/c unit to tree branch to get over that! He landed in my backyard and it took awhile for me to stop laughing before bringing him home (with an assist from my dog's treats).

Ответ для DenverChick

Years ago I had 4 little dogs and the neighbor’s very big dog jumped the six foot fence while we were at work. I took one look out back when we got home and they were all lined up sitting out there together, but I was so surprised and shocked I ran out yelling and he immediately jumped back over.

Ответ для Please let me sleep.

I scared him way more than he scared my pups (oops)! To be fair, he was a strange dog and very big so my initial reaction was to protect my dogs.

Ответ для Please let me sleep.

Agnes would jump the fence while I was at work and go romping around the neighborhood then jump back in. A neighbor told me. I had no idea. Like your situation it could have gone badly!

Ответ для Ani

One of my dogs laughed at every single barrier, every extension, every layer intended to keep her in. One day, I came home from school & found she was missing. I went on a search & found her about a ½ mile from home, drenched to the bone. Now she was a husky, & a husky coat is not an easy thing 1/7

to drench, so I was baffled about what she'd been up to. I rounded her up and took her home. The next day, I woke up early in the morning--about 6 AM--to the sound of splashing. My next door neighbors had a pool, but I knew they were out of town. All at once, I put together what had happened the 2/7

Ответ для These aren’t political🌲🌊💨🐻🐺They're necessary🌱

day before. I jumped out of bed and looked out the window. Through the trees, I could make out my dog, having a morning swim next door. I rushed out and scurried down my neighbor's side yard, calling my dog in a loud whisper. This went on for a number of days, 3/7

Ответ для These aren’t political🌲🌊💨🐻🐺They're necessary🌱

and I'd go retrieve her each time...until one morning, when there came a knock on the door. It was just about dawn, and there was my neighbor, clearly irritated, and holding my soggy dog by her collar. This was the moment I learned he had gotten home the night before. He gave me an earful 4/7

Ответ для These aren’t political🌲🌊💨🐻🐺They're necessary🌱

about finding my dog in his pool, and I apologized while my dog stood dripping--and listening--in the entry hall. She understood this meant that the fun was over--she never did it again. No matter what we did, she could get out. But she didn't do it all the time. She'd just go on sprees 5/7

I don't blame him. Why are they in such horrible prison cells? At least they should have open sides. Ugh, I hate this so much.😡

Ответ для avidiva/MyExistenceistheResistance

That's not workable. I've volunteered in many shelters. First, dogs want a security zone, & walls can help create that. Second, it helps cut down on noise. Third, dogs in a situation with only chain link/open walls & being next to another dog, possibly (likely) on 3 sides us disastrous for them all.

Probably should have written calm on the door. You can't fault a dog for following instructions.

Everybody else says escape artist -- I see circus preformer.

I fostered this dog, and began all discussions about him with this photo. He won the adoption lottery, and is with the best family possible.

I kinda wish these photos had been available before she was at our house, but we figured it out 💜💜💜

Ответ для mlmcreynolds

Every introduction with the neighbors: "oh, you live in the house with the jumping dog! We saw the stuff you put on top of the fence and wondered why but we figured it out." She got shots recently and the vet commented her legs are very muscular.

Ответ для Cantras

lolol we got something similar for the 5’ chain link fence along the side of the house… she could both climb it and jump over it

Ответ для Cantras

Oh my gosh, she looks so much like my dog Pippin! But Pippin has always had very weak back legs (from living in a crate the first year of his life.) he loves his walks though 🩵

Ответ для desertwhispers

I once found a dog at my house. When I went to take him home, the owner said he was an escape artist and could get out of a glass box. He would show up to play with my dog. He lived on the next street. I'd take him home, let him in his yard and come back to my house to find him waiting for me.

Ответ для Art Moreorless

I lived in a corner house and there was an alley behind it. He lived about 5 houses down. I'd walk him home and when I walked back, he'd be in the alley waiting. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ответ для desertwhispers

Happy to know he has a furever home ❤️

He just wants to be with people, not trapped in a brick closet. 😔💔

Ответ для Nayne

I will say I am happy dogs in no-kill shelters are fed and cared for, that is a priceless thing. 🩵🩵🩵

My dog, admiring a master of the art. The day after watching this scene from "Lassie, Come Home," she tried this. She'd never done it before. I won't be showing her this video of Chase.

Ответ для These aren’t political🌲🌊💨🐻🐺They're necessary🌱

Oh no! Your dog is clearly very smart. Good idea keeping the video of Chase from them!

❤️❤️❤️💙

I'm thinking Chase is first on the docket Monday morning in "Puppy Court". 😅🤣😂

Chase wagging his tail the entire time he’s up there😂

oh man hes in deep shit. that was premeditated assault. and caught on camera! i hope his name stands him to good ends. run, chase, RUN!

I knew it. Turn your back for an instant. For an instant!!!

"Chase -- Cooler !" (Those who will get it will get it.)

Ответ для Mongo, The Dog Who Was A Whale

I think Chase deserves a solid 15/10 for his impressive escape artistry skills, which clearly surpass the original rating and warrant an immediate upgrade.

He’s a great dog!!

Our dog, Mikey, was a notorious escape artist. We placed him in a kennel once when we were on vaca. He escaped, ran aound the outside of the compound causing the remaining dogs to go ballistic. He also gorged himself on the store of dog food. He was labeled a deliquent by the kennel owner.

he got up there like a Belgian Malinois and came down like the dumbest orange cat
