Day...5 of a recurring headache. I even took a NAP this afternoon trying to get rid of it. Why am I like this? I'm pretty sure it's a stress headache. PS. I can't even write right now because of this damn headache.

I was holding a little orange boy on my first visit to the shelter and Pepper jumped up, slapped the happy out of the orangey until he got down, and then wouldn't let anyone else get up on my lap. I was chosen. On my 2nd visit, Jacq jumped on my shoulders and woudln't get down. I was chosen.

LOL. I wear glasses every minute I'm awake (barring shower time) so I seldom end up with a spare pair on my head BUT I wear prescription reading glasses (progressives the rest of the time) and I've tried to put my progressives on OVER my reading glasses more than once.

Both my girls (cats) were in the shelter for more than a year--Pepper was there closer to 2 years--when I adopted them. I wasn't interested in a kitten or a new arrival. I wanted the cats who'd been there a while. Ultimately, Pepper and Jacq both chose me themselves.
