Is Starlight Glimmer considered overhated? Idk if she is but I get really defensive of her especially when it comes to her backstory

You can do wrong things for the right reasons and whether she’s “a good person” isn’t as important as being an interesting character

Lyse Finalfantasy. Stormblood for all of its problems is an incredibly interesting story with a lot it is trying to say, and people rag on it because the protagonist is a woman (they also just generally misunderstand it and what it's trying to say but Gamers? Media literacy?? c'est impossible)

Lara Croft OG is loved but Reboot Lara doesn't get the love she deserves. She's super resilient, forgets lethal wounds for hours, processes extreme emotions instantly, immediately clocks magic as real, and a literal God falls in love with her immediately Also her Bow is OP af & she's multilingual

I’m 25 years young at the time of writing this, and I have at least a few of them. Here’s one example I’d like to share:

Micaiah from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn gets such a bad rap from the fanbase, and while I don't think her character is perfect (name me a Fire Emblem character that is), the amount of hate she gets is way disproportional and suspicious given that she's one of the series' few female protagonists.
