I worked at Disney a while ago. Do you know why theme parks are so safe? Because OOSHA reps can walk the track on any ride at any time and any safety violation they see is a $10,000 fine. Each. Theme parks are not safe because the company cares. They're safe because it's cheaper to comply.

Do you know why airlines are so safe? Because we regulate the ever-loving shit out of them. You don't have to like government regulations. They can be annoying. I promise they have saved your life. They happen when people get hurt or die. Every single one is written in blood.

I will never stop speaking up of how important this is, how incredibly poignant it is for the story to finally be going there, how... Special it is. To Me. How existentially validating, to choose to be a girl despite destiny's cold hands denying it. How beautiful to be a princess.

I will be returning to drawing Ralsei again soon Events the past month, the discourse and harassment and worse has made us anxious to get back to it. It makes me so happy others are continuing to create where we have temporarily stopped for safety. Transfem Ralsei really is that important to me.
