Not that it wasn't mature before, but putting ratings and warnings on books has long been controversial, and definitely wasn't done on earlier editions. They had to know they'd be evicerated by fans if they released it as anything less.

I may have found a fun new way to learn another language: Archive.org has old TTRPG books in non-English languages. Like Shadowrun in German.

Mostly ambient internet radio: somafm.com/player24/sta... Sometimes other SomaFM stations as well, but Groove Salad Classic is my go-to.

I'm so tired of watching them underfund public schools and then blame everyone else when schools do poorly. Meanwhile rural schools like the one I went to have to continuously justify staying open.

Me: "They don't want to read this. I just felt like writing it." My editor: "It's a bit much." Any male reader dedicated enough to make it that far, probably: "How does the thing woorrrrkk??" (this statement approved by a Gen X Trekkie coworker 🤣)

I've failed again. 💀 I need to go back to taking my computer to the library during the day.
