For me, school was where I got away from stuff happening at home, and made something better for myself. I think about that a lot. Like, not every kid is in a great situation to be at home all the time.

The school was worth it, but it's crazy that there are kids out there who don't have a choice. And the alternative seems to be using tax money to support non-public schooling. Homeschooling, no less, which last I checked is underregulated. They obviously don't care what happens to these kids.
