I have said this since Mackinnon's letter came out- we have not heard the end of this. It is a pause. They are not making any more Q400 turboprops, and eventually it is either allow jets or close the airport. We should be looking forward to the latter.

The only parts of Toronto's transit system that are "at capacity" are pieces of the bus network in suburban areas where they feed into the subway and where the solutions to the capacity problem are the easiest. There's nowhere in Toronto that should turn away development because of transit.

The Transportation Safety Board has released a report into a CN locomotive rear-ending an Exo train on Nov. 21, 2023. www.tsb.gc.ca/eng/rapports... It finds the CN train ignored a speed restriction and was going almost three times that limit.

Making a semi annual pilgrimage to see the sunken hulk of the Former Toronto Ferry, the Bluebell. Built in 1906, she served TO for almost 50 years before being retired & eventually sunk. Her sistership, the Trillium is still in active service some 116 year later #paddleTO #SUPTO #TOhistory #ferry
