Huge news out of Mississauga. After 80 years of operation, oil refining at the Mississauga Lubricants Centre will cease operations by next year. Toronto really needs some interim transit priority on Lake Shore Boulevard East between Parliament and Cherry. I've been on the 114 bus for 10 minutes, as all right-turning drivers struggle to find space between cyclists and pedestrians, and lots of line cutters squeeze in from the centre lane.

As we celebrate two victories for Toronto's central waterfront tomorrow, this map of land ownership in the Port Lands is useful context.
