If you have a house built in the 50’s-60’s with this style exhaust fan that is slow starting or not running— The fan assembly is easily removed and you will find two oiling ports. Add a few drops in each with the motor upright and let it run a bit. Should do the trick. 👍

Here’s an element of trim carpentry that for the most part has been lost to time. The center mull cover on a twin double-hung window has been “let” into the top casing. Aesthetically superior to the bevel ‘n butt. Not really that hard to do either. This house was built in 1939.
