Emailed and will not be donating again without reinstatement and a public apology

Firing workers for unionizing, or even talking about unionizing, is a violation of the National Labor Relations Act Sec. 8. Refusing to bargain collectively in good faith with a union is also a violation of the National Labor Relations Act.

I had already stopped donating because of their LLM policies (they let companies scrape Wikipedia instead of suing the fuck out of the companies scraping). This just further confirms my judgement of the management and their priorities. Which is sad.

I think people should make backups of wikipedia's articles and host it, so wikimedia knows they don't have a monopoly on being wikipedia. Maybe we'll get a federated wikipedia alternative out of that.
