I’ve told people this privately but will say it here. The biggest problem when you look at MLS rosters isn’t the usage of allocation money. It’s the fact that the max budget charge is capped at a certain amount and your average annual budget charge can’t exceed it year after year

Exactly! It’s my favorite kind of worldbuilding. It just reads with the assumption that the reader is in the same world as the characters so it just gives enough that you fill in the gaps naturally in your mind.
