read this good Verge piece on how companies are doing the absolute bare minimum to bypass the FCC bans on drones they've lobotomized the regulators, this is all the laziest pantomime by incompetent xenophobe protectionists
every piece of business journalism I read on these bans of Chinese drones/vacuums/AI forgets to inform the reader this administration is too corrupt and incompetent to pull something like this off, even if this sort of protectionist nonsense wasn't foundationally stupid in the first place
