the other "funny" part is this was not even really like a hard-hitting news org that made the Ebay execs mad. It was kind of a pseudo-news website for MBAs who fantasized about entrepreneurship

If you were doing small-biz selling on eBay at the time, their newsletter was very useful. But never did I consider it vituperative or even overly critical to eBay!
