Like video calls. Oh how I wanted the amazing futuristic magic of 'video calls' when I was a kid. Now I have them every day at work... no. Kid me was an idiot.

Can only imagine the amount of clarifications needed on any voice command before it either decides it has enough information to hallucinate my intent or keeps asking increasingly granular detail and never does

I become irrationally angry if my phone or any other computer requests verbal communication, or talks unexpectedly. It's like an answering machine but worse. That meme absolutely cracked me up first time I saw it because I'm sure that's pretty much how my reaction comes across.

I think there's a bunch of value in minor stuff like that tbh. I mostly use it for that, setting timers for cooking, or controlling the TV when the remote is doing its disappearing act. Adding stuff to shopping lists is pretty ok, though that data is getting sold for sure
