i am very specifically talking against the common tendency of people in opposition to AI to pull the wool over their own eyes about model capability because they feel AI is entirely fake and it's more important for them to be Right than to be correct

i haven't paid any attention to what altman is saying and I worded the post the way I did for a reason. OpenAI is lying, yes, but the models can in fact do that. did they do it on purpose? I wouldn't put it past them
