厳しい顔のキツネさん、優しい顔でこどもをあやすキツネさん。 こうやっていつ行っても馴染みの顔がいらっしゃることがどれだけ参拝者にとって励みになるだろう。思わず「また来ましたよー」と話しかけてしまう。 やはり、仏像もそうだけど、生き物をかたどった偶像というのは人のこころの拠り所になりうるものだと思う。 話しかけられているような気がする。 話を聞いてくれているような気がする。 それだけでどれだけ心が落ち着くことか。
