I really respect how @glasgowbell.bsky.social have approached reporting on Saturday's fascist rally (and counter-demo) in their weekly briefing. Rightly noting "the anti-immigration crowd will have been disappointed by the low turnout", while also highlighting street attacks on people of colour.

The dragon show falling into the trap of the thrones show before it, everyone seems to be able to get everywhere in 15 minutes or less and it's causing pacing issues.

I might have been more generous and think it a three star movie if it hadn't committed a cardinal sin for me, having Odysseus tell us what the theme of the movie was meant to be, but a solid 50%+ of the movie not having been about that.

I haven't yet Letterboxd my Christopher Nolan's Odyssey thoughts, but suffice to say I found it to be a two-star movie and simply cannot believe it's generated this much conversation with the surprisingly little it had to say.
