I don’t miss the sex pests but some things about early bluesky were magical

my biggest problem was (I don’t know if they changed it) you HAD to use a controller instead of mouse and keyboard because mouse and keyboard didn’t let you gradually accelerate you just went to full speed which makes a certain section Impossible

I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet so I don't have an opinion on the review itself but I actually think it kinda rules that the classics professor didn't like the movie that launched her translation into the stratosphere

as a general thing I think that outside of things like child abuse or enabling your kid to be an asshole a lot of parental judgments should be toned down because what is a genuinely important parenting choice for your child can be completely wrong for someone else's they are all SO different

another thing that bites basically every parent of more than one child is thinking that shit that works for your first child will work for your second child the fuck it will, have fun starting from square one buddy

if the choice is "screentime at meals" versus "failure to thrive" well one of those principles is going out the window and it's not the one about my children surviving

"kiddo will eat when they are hungry and you can set rules around mealtimes" it turns out kids are actually quite willing to not eat! and when "turn on an episode of octonauts" is the only way your child will get enough calories in them, well, you turn on the episode, end of story
