god, remember when we were normal about films? Remember when you didn't have to have an opinion about every single thing? I went to the local cinema almost every week in the late 90s, had virtually zero opinions. Knew nothing going in, nothing coming out. A peaceful age.

The number one piece of advice I can give people for feeling less miserable is to let things affect you. Let music and movies and stories make you cry. Let them make you emotional. Let go of a need for lore and explanation and simply *feel* what stories have to share with you.
