It's not a competition, obviously - but it's absolutely bananas that GMTK Game Jam 2026 actually received more submissions than this year's Global Game Jam. That makes GMTK the biggest game jam in existence. (Maybe GGJ allowing AI-generated submissions put some devs off... who knows?)

Sharp corners neutralise a lot of space around them, which is a big problem in small apartments. Maybe enough buyers just haven't noticed that, or something.
