A major issue with the establishment's efforts fending off individual progressives like El-Sayed, Hong, Chevalier, Kiros, Gonzales, Flanagan, etc, is that we're well past the point where it's clear that young voters just Do This now, and who do you think is going to make up the electorate later?

The car industry never offered compensation to the residents whose front yards they stole to store their products. They never lobbied to ensure that the land they stole for street parking was fully funded by fees on drivers. It's no different from the cities they razed to ground to build highways.
