So cool...as basic as the earliest footage is, it looks super responsive. It's like a glimpse at a more precise, action-oriented Poinpy (Upwell?)

It started to feel like a solid base for a game at this point. Took about 6 months to from the first video to this one. From here on we spent 2+ years adding content and polish.

Really enjoyed this thread of the broad early development steps of Poinpy. If you haven’t played it yet you should absolute banger of a video game! Downwell has been my public transport mobile game for years but this will likely take its place (I really value that I only need one hand to play)

I downloaded it when it was re-released and beat it yesterday, it's a banger. I will try to get all the medals.

I didn't realize how long it took to develop the game. It definitely comes through with how polished the final product is!

I love seeing this stuff from other devs too so I thought I'd do my part :) I don't have much footage with Downwell but I did find these screenshots. There's not much visual change from final so not as interesting hah
