I do think some of them have lost a bit of their zest in the translation to single player though, especially Flyfish

So cool...as basic as the earliest footage is, it looks super responsive. It's like a glimpse at a more precise, action-oriented Poinpy (Upwell?)

Where did he say he would just be replaying games? I think thoroughly exploring and playing games from the past 40+ years could easily last you a lifetime, and many of these older games are designed with replayability in mind anyway

I think Zelda fans forget that to many people BotW *is* Zelda, so I can understand why they would want to make the distinction between gameplay styles

My gut reaction to that is that it's basically code for "not like Breath of the Wild" which is to say that it will be a traditional 3D Zelda, not to say that it will just be a visual remake like Star Fox

The good news is that if it does have issues it will be fixed eventually, sometimes they update so hard that they actually make the games worse!

And not to mention all of these games they acquired and plan to re-release at some point

I really thought this would be one of Tezuka's last games as he's been producer on every Yoshi game but I guess the reins were handed over much earlier

Game isn't developed internally at Nintendo so he definitely wouldn't be fully hands on with it
