Trump finds the physical limitations he lives with everyday funny because they are true for him. He relates to a guy who does not have the energy to please his wife after a long trek up one flight of stairs.

I've suspected for years that when the remaining non-fanatics realize that even the entertainment value is gone and he's neither funny nor interesting but just embarrassing, it will happen exactly as the saying goes: gradually, and then all at once.

I watched an Insta reel from @juliaioffe.bsky.social as she was leaving the dinner early. She said her employer required her to attend and she sat through an hour of Trump’s rantings before deciding she didn’t have to put up with anymore and went home. She’s called for the end of these dinners.
