A quick Google tells me that rental of studio space caps out at about £40800, so he's paying himself about £9k over the typical market rate if we're being generous with the figures. Depends on square footage and location of course... maybe he's renting himself a really *big* studio in his house...

1. Where is the property? 2. How big is the 'studio space'? 3. Does the £10k include all utility bills etc 4. What is a comparable rent in the area? 5. Is the 'studio space' used exclusively for 'work'?
