It’s simpler than that. We call a grilled sandwich with ham and cheese a “croque monsieur”. Literally “bite Mister”. And when we add a fried egg on top, we call it a “croque madame”. Literally “bite Lady”.

Except in humans at least that’s false. Rarely a person assigned male at birth (Male genitalia) has one ovary (we all have 2 gonads which develop in ovaries or testes. 🤷) With HRT the could produce eggs. 🤷 They may also have a uterus & cervix. It’s a form of Persistent Mullerian duck syndrome.
