Democrats should spend every single waking moment characterizing Stephen Miller's position on asylum claims as the position of an out-of-touch extremist, because that's exactly what it is. Most Americans view immigration as a net-positive. Treat this view with the contempt that it deserves.

The slur "tonks" is used by Border Patrol to describe migrants. It's derived from the sound a baton or heavy duty flashlight makes when hitting a migrant over the head.
