The guy that they want you to be terrified of (Mamdani) is making sure kids in NYC are fed all summer and people have access to cheaper groceries, all while they take food away from kids getting SNAP. Just sayin, feeding kids should make you the good guy.

In all seriousness, I hope the end result of Bluesky is all its users giving gardening a shot, even if it’s just a pot of kitchen herbs. (And I would never knock it, fresh herbs are expensive! In fact, herb gardening is probably the easiest genuine moneysaver in gardening)

I remember this insane story from a few years ago. Ebay employees trying to shut down this couple's little newsletter that was criticizing the company went completely batshit: sending them live spiders, posting ads for sex parties at their address, tailing their car, sending them death threats.
