I was today years old when I discovered that a famous Portuguese version of One Note Samba has vocals by Caterina Valente. I have been reading @catvalente.bsky.social since “Palimpsest,” ~2009, without making this connection. Worse, I know & love the Getz/Byrd instrumental version of the song.
