The BBC is facing pressure to apologise for reading out tweets from Nigel Farage and other unnamed "senior members of the Reform Party" on #newsnight. But #r4today chooses to have something else as its lead story, including a report from the tweet reading culprit, Nick Watt.

If Farage wants to make a point, why doesn’t he show up to be interviewed on #Newsnight, rather than messaging one of the presenters, who reads out his guff unchallenged. By the way, if Farage is currently a candidate in a by-election, don’t rules apply so Count Binface has a right to comment also?

National insurance is paid to give everyone free healthcare for life. Most of us use every penny we’ve paid in NHS care. NI is not some kind of state pension contribution. Withdrawing the state pension from the 3 million pensioner millionaires would save £36 billion per year. That’d help.
