It’s like TR’s “speak softly and carry a big stick” diplomacy, only without the “speak softly” part. Also, with as much schtick as stick when it comes to Trump.

Not even pretending to have liberatory or democratic intentions. Literally just looting other countries because we're bigger and we can. The pretense that the US is a force for democracy in the world used to be *so central* to GOP foreign policy. It must sound crazy to young people these days.
