Last week, we asked top Texas GOP leaders to respond to recent posts in which Bo French invoked fascist conspiracy theories and called for Chinese people to be rounded up. None responsed. Tonight, most of them will appear at a conference with French:

i don't know. maybe we ought to put Chinese Americans in charge of the committees deciding if climate refugees from Texas (it's gonna happen) should be allowed into the rest of the US. Hows about that?

I'm not sure “The Camp of the Saints” counts as "obscure" anymore, at least among people who pay attention to how the "great replacement theory" nonsense has spread. It's right up there with "The Turner Diaries" on the Really Bad Book Club list.
