I've moved on to block/mark spam (and in one case calling an OOS campaign to get them remove my info). I wonder how much physical resources are wasted with those stupid texts - not counting the personal energy (and time) used up in the "end stop delete" fury.

If I could ban every single PAC from existence ESPECIALLY those flooding my phone with "donate here to support Project X", I'd be a much happier person. The ones with "breaking this happened 3 months ago but we just learned so HERE" news is actually quite triggering.

The existence of disability accommodations isn't the problem. The problem is inflexible pedagogical practices designed for a specific neurotype and physical ability level, ignorant and short-sighted disability services offices, and the artificiality of every common proxy for measuring understanding.

The fury with which disabled people react to "everyone is faking their alleged disabilities and even if they aren't, the accommodations for it are unfair and too easy to get" is because from our end, it's *not* easy to get them, and they often don't actually do what we need them to do.

From the disabled person perspective, I think it's also important to point out that part of why we all get so furious at this discussion that *keeps happening* is that "extra time" is often the only thing a school will offer, even when it does nothing to actually accommodate us specifically.
