The three hours includes the nearby school street, as well. Otherwise, I think it could have been a two-hour meeting. Both streets are home to the farmers market, which needs a design that enables them to continue to operate. And it’s a new program so we are also creating replicable standards.

Our scope is just the half block of Crockett. The parking lot is run by Parks so including that would multiply the difficulty 25x.

I can confirm that even the straights shop there on occasion.

My favorite was the Argentine wrapp, which started as a special limited-time offering but then I think they added it as a permanent menu item.

The closest one to us is now Athina Grill. You can still see an echo of the tile on their paint pattern.

Ok, apparently I’m the only one on here who was a fan of World Wrapps. Their Broadway store closed more than 20 years ago but their signature mosaic design is still on the building.

Right off the bat, it’s unusually soft. Not crisp at all, except the corners. It’s possible they are being displayed in a humid environment, which is too bad. But there is a beautiful butter flavor that comes through, even from the outer crust, which is rare. Overall, sadly, it’s just above average.

I’ve been wanting to try the croissant from The French Guys for quite a while. I visited once with @spottnik.bsky.social on an urban hike but we didn’t try the croissant.
