I hope this is the last year we allow Genesee Park to be used as a parking lot for Seafair. It creates a large barren space that degrades the park year round.

I like that SDOT is getting better at traffic circulation plans. This is an essential skill for building things like superblocks, home zones, low-traffic neighborhoods, and congestion pricing zones.
Seattle Department of TransportationROUTE 8 and DENNY WAY: starting on Saturday, buses and cars merging onto Interstate 5 won’t compete for the same lane of Denny Way. To keep traffic flowing, people driving to I-5 south from eastbound Denny Way will turn right on Boren Ave and left on Howell St instead of using Yale Ave.
I read his public disclosures, so I know most of Will Dreher's money comes from out of state, with a surprising number from folks at AI companies. What I don't know is whether Will Dreher is an industry plant. I have no idea if he is an industry plant. If he's an industry plant, I have no knowledge.
Design Review is a city program that 1️⃣slows and adds cost to homebuilding, and 2️⃣results in minor design changes to some buildings without evidence of net improvement. 3️⃣Architects "comply in advance" which leads to mediocre design. 4️⃣It employs ~12 people, who could expedite building permits instead.
