The tariffs are gone. You can tick through the list. What we have seen is not Trump's impunity and total capacity to move the system, what we have seen is that his project is arbitrary government. The more arbitrary we become in response, the further he can go. Ours is the stronger position.

"You can just do stuff" mistakes the parties fundamentally. The Democratic party in this moment is the party of the rule of law, and republicans the party of arbitrary government. Donald Trump cannot 'just do stuff,' in fact he's constrained across a number of his core proposals.
