Trump lost the 2020 election and tried to stage a coup to stay in power.  He should have never been allowed to run for office again because the US has a Constitutional ban on insurrectionists holding office. Like the Confederates, had Trump been held accountable, we wouldn’t be in such a mess…

An honest question, what services can the private school offer that a public school can’t? And I agree with you about late stage capitalism. And my local schools are so defended. I understand why folks ask for a voucher.

There was an article that came out last year by the Missouri. Independent that said that just a little over 98% of the vouchers in Missouri went to religious schools. In Arkansas, 99% went to religious schools. In Iowa it was nearly 100%.

Do you want to know how popular school vouchers are? They have never won on a ballot. Not once. In any state. Ever. The only way states are able pass a school voucher scheme is behind closed doors. Legislatively. The people would never approve their tax dollars going to private religious schools.

A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has the constitutional authority to temporarily appoint someone to fill Mitch McConnell’s seat. If GOP lawmakers want to challenge that, they can do so. This will be the first big test to see whether Beshear really is presidential material. I hope he passes the test.
