You cannot buy the revolution. You cannot make the revolution. You can only be the revolution. It is in your spirit, or it is nowhere.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

I've played around with AI enough to know what it is - and any academic using it as more than a fancy search engine is playing with fire. It is capable of some degree of synthesis, often flawed, and that's about it. If you're letting it do your thinking for you, you're a fraud.

25 tonnes of nurdles, more than 1 billion nurdles, were spilled into the Tyne last week and are washing up on our beaches, north and south of the Tyne. Likely one of the largest ever plastic pollution events in the UK. There is remarkably little mention of this on here.

I fail to see what point Steven Guilbeault is making in this op ed in the Toronto Star. Does he have some strategic insights for the climate justice movement, or just optimism about the efficacy of individual action? 1/ www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
