As long as gun lobby-backed lawmakers refuse to take action and strengthen our gun laws, gun violence will continue to seep into every facet of American life. No one is immune — not children in their classrooms, nor politicians.

This is unserious and hypocritical. In my first term (2022-2023), we had council leadership that was absent, didn’t communicate with many members of the council, and didn’t collaborate across politics spectrums. It’s interesting to hear a change of tune now. 1/
