Growing up Canadian, this wasn’t as much of a thing, but it happened. I had a friend in high school whose parents saved the last few antibiotics pills in case someone needed them next time. Antibiotics! I still get apoplectic thinking about it 30 yrs later

This is about the wildfire situation in Ontario. But applies to virtually any topic in Canadian politics. They were warned of a risk. They didn’t take the advice of experts to prevent the risk. Now it’s a much more difficult (and expensive) situation. And, people are suffering
