Orwellian. An ICE agent shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. He had lived peacefully in this country for 35 years. The Trump regime then lied, claiming drugs were in his vehicle at the time he was killed. There were no drugs. They are murdering migrants - and trying to murder the truth.

Another opportunity to play everyone’s favorite game: “What if a Democrat did it!”

It's striking how much more effectively this administration could engage in authoritarian thuggery if they didn't feel compelled to constantly throw red meat to their equally thuggish base by publicly confessing their improper motives.
