Another weird BART hack is if you miss a orange line Richmond at 12 Street you can just hop onto an Antioch and transfer at 19th. Its not very intuitive for a lot of people and its weird the transfer isnt at 12 St to avert this.

This is also a reminder about Berkeley. It was insane in Paris too (straight up riots out there) before it got great. Addiction to car-centrism is strong but it can be overcome.

I'd like to see an expansion of protected bike parking at all the commercial districts. Will really make the difference in cycletraffic for sure

It works fine in Temescal. Haven't seen any issues, and the density of scooters and cyclists is much higher. I know on occasion a cyclist or scooter can get doored but that's a much lower likelihood of fatal injury than vehicle collision. Especially since the shop area will be a slow zone

So that's pretty good because the only parking spaces remotely affected for Monterey Market shoppers then are the ones between Monterey/California to Sacramento, which is mostly red curbed anyways for the bus stop or driveways. So thats like 7 spots tops.

I'm sorry, but, when pigs fly. Something could be said for quick drop offs and small shop shoppers, but the idea Monterey Market shoppers are parking anywhere but the parking lot or California and Ada is very strange

Parking spaces between McGee and California could be preserved with the bike lane, and Kesarwani proposed blue curbing them to ensure disability access

Nobody does except merchants, off-loaders and a few young guns I don't even get it actually from a directional sense re: older hill dwellers. D6 drivers are going west, so it's all red curbed passed the salon. They're not U-turning to get the spaces, they cut into California and into the lot.

well, except in the Monterey Market parking lot, and Red Oak Realty parking lot, and in front of the shops if you have a handicapped placard, and McGee, and Ada, and California and Monterey — to be fair.
