Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.

법알못이라 하는 얘기겠지만 수사 과정에서 법 전문가의 통제를 받을 필요가 있다는 것이 그 역할을 하는 것이 검사여야 한다는 결론으로 이어지는 로직을 아직도 모르겠음. (검사는 수사 지휘관이 아닌 경찰측 attorney 아닌가?) 그리고 4년제 대학 나오고 일선 수사 현장에서 충분히 경험을 쌓은 수사관이 공부해도 알 수 없을정도로 형법이 그렇게 심오한가? 형소법에서 절차로 장난치는 영역은 과거에도 앞으로도 어차피 검사들이 할거고.

놀라운 일은 아니라고 본다. 언젠간 발생할 일이긴 했어. 난 지금 진짜로 '그래, 그리 됐구나.' 하고 있다.
