They didnt join to write tickets. They want to either stand around or deliver violence. Now that its a lot harder to plant drugs in a car or molest passengers, they are less motivated to do traffic enforcement at all.

Well, there's the problem. These people want to be called writers, they certainly wont lower themselves to the task of writing.

*whispers* you know we can do this cultural debate about art thing all the time, right? Websites and news organizations used to have culture critics on staff whose entire job was writing about books, movies, and TV. People read them and then discussed them. We have the technology to do this again.

I still think of Tyrian (Tyyraine in my head) at least once a week and havent played it since I was a young teen. It was just that good.

Lol I finally read the Odyssey lady's review and 1) I live for hating things that throughly and 2) im 99% she didnt watch the movie and is just slinging shit for clout. Slinging shit for clout is basically what academics do as a profession, so that isnt really a criticism.

Haha my family had a pizza place the next town over, you cant imagine how real (and exhausting) that conversation is.

There's an empty lot near me with a BIP sign that people move piles of gravel around once in a while. They cleared it years ago, now it just hangs. So, thats direct impact on my community (I know of an actual project the next town over but the constant visual is funny.)
