yeah thats probably right, i think of the dollar as an expression of that system

sure, like the dollar itself as a reserve currency buys the use like 30-50 bps in treasury yield, but like the thing that matters is that everyones banks with visa and mastercard. Everyone uses US tech. everyone complies with US sanctions on banking and so on

I dont really seen yuan usage being that imminent because its a tool of the state in a way USD isnt. Like its actual price so controlled is a problem. The most powerful thing about the dollar is the ability to apply sanctions and debanking people. And thats already dying from over use

I see them as a threat to the ally and trade system, not the dollar. i dont actually think the dollar is that important
