dragbunt28 июл., 05:57It’s so odd the frenzy over this thing. Its word choices are great, if often inaccurate, but it certainly fails the Matthew Arnold criteria for faithfulness to the original. It’s like Bentley said of Pope’s Iliad: a very pretty poem, if not quite Homer.

dragbunt28 июл., 03:57There’s zero depth to this movie at all. It’s a summer tentpole action film which has people thinking they’re impressed with themselves because it’s about “the classics.” Nobody thought classic comics were superior to regular comics.
