I really loved Wilson's essay! It reminded me of things about The Odyssey that I'd forgotten & which enriched my experience of the film! I disagree with some of its points & find that *exciting*, because it's helping me sharpen my own thinking about it through the lens of her expertise!

There really needs to be more discussion of how bad the dialogue in The Odyssey is. "Our age of bronze is collapsing" should be a meme on the same level as "Somehow, Palpatine returns"
